Billie Jean Miller has been admitted to practice law in the State of New York since 1996 and has handled hundreds of cases from inception through trial over the course of her 24 years of practice. She has a wide range of experience in both tort law and commercial litigation. During the course of her career, she has handled all aspects of general liability litigation, including premises and construction liability, contract litigation as well as real estate matters. Ms. Miller is also well versed in the handling of professional and medical malpractice matters and has represented healthcare workers involved in litigation in both State and Federal Courts.

Ms. Miller was born, raised and educated on Long Island having attended SUNY Stony Brook and Touro Law School. She was admitted to the United States District Courts of the Eastern and Southern Districts in 1998. She initially began her legal career working for several large law firms where she eventually mentored and trained new attorneys and staff. She then opted to open her own law practice where she specialized in consulting for law firms and insurance companies who relied on her expertise in all aspects of pre-trial litigation in various practice areas including medical malpractice. She has cultivated valuable relationships within the New York State Bar Association and the local bar associations on Long Island.
