Jessica A. Moreno is a senior associate specializing in the representation of clients in medical malpractice, nursing home, and general liability defense. As part of a team of attorneys handling the defense of firm clients, Ms. Moreno has expertise in all aspects of pre-trial practice from the pleading stage through trial preparation including conducting depositions of witnesses, retention of experts and motion practice related to Summary Judgment.

Ms. Moreno is a member of the Board of Directors of the Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers’ Association, where she currently serves as the Treasurer of the Association. As a member of the Board of Directors, she has organized several educational programs related to litigation, with a focus on medical issues, such as “Common Issues with Medical Records and Witnesses,” and “3101(d) and Expert Witness Discovery.”

Ms. Moreno graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2013 and received her J.D from Hofstra University’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law in 2016. She is admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
