Nicole D. Fogarty is a senior associate specializing in the representation of clients in both general and professional liability defense from inception through trial. Ms. Fogarty has significant experience in all aspects of civil litigation including deposition of witnesses, retention of experts, arbitrations, mediations, motion practice, jury selection, and jury trial practice. Prior to joining BBO&C, Ms. Fogarty was affiliated with a prominent New York medical malpractice defense firm and had the privilege of working in-house at one of the nation’s largest general liability insurers, where she served as Trial Counsel, taking over 20 verdicts with favorable results in various courts throughout the New York metropolitan area. She is a proven hands-on litigator who understands that a case can be won either at trial, by way of favorable settlement or by decision from the court and provides her clients with the experience to chart the course that best suits their needs.
After graduating cum laude from Hunter College, Ms. Fogarty attended New York Law School where she was an active member of the Hispanic Students Association. After graduation, Ms. Fogarty became a member of the Puerto Rican Bar Association, the Queens County Bar Association and the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers. When not at work, Ms. Fogarty, from Queens, N.Y., is an avid baseball fan and can often be found at Citi Field cheering on her favorite team, the New York Mets with her daughter.
