Jody A. Shelmidine is a Senior Associate who specializes in the defense of significant personal injury, property damage, medical malpractice and general liability cases.

Mr. Shelmidine obtained his bachelor's degree in public justice and psychology from SUNY Oswego and his Juris Doctorate from Hofstra School of Law.  Mr. Shelmidine was admitted to the New York Bar in 2003. He was admitted to the United States District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 2004.

He is a Member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He is a Member of the Suffolk County Bar Association Artificial Intelligence Committee.

Mr. Shelmidine is a veteran who served honorably in the United States Army from 1988-1992 as a Military Policeman. He is an active volunteer in his community.
