BBO&C Partner Joseph Bisch obtained a defense verdict before Hon. Aletha V. Fields in New York State Supreme Court, Suffolk County for a nursing and rehabilitation center client on June 26, 2025, in a case which included alleged violations of the Public Health Law and professional negligence. Plaintiff alleged that the CNA attending to the patient at the facility negligently assisted her from the commode to her bed resulting in a fall and spinal injuries requiring multiple operations. After a lengthy deliberation, the jury came back in favor of the defendant facility. Congratulations Joe on well-deserved defense verdict!
